Frequently Asked Questions

If you don’t find on this page what you are looking for and need some details get in touch with us.

Please have in mind to respect and care for the scarce resources in the environment. Water, air and soil are our most precious resources. You may find some of our recommendations in the House rules and regulations section below. Please check them if this is your first time travelling to our island.

Reservation Questions

Find the accommodation you are interested in (you may see all of them here), read the description and check the pictures. You will find the availability at the bottom of the page and the exact price for your chosen dates by using the calendar on the right side of the page. If you decide to book and fill in the form, the host will get back to you to confirm the details.

Don’t worry if you still have questions, we may discuss special arrangements like extra bed or baby cot via email or phone.

If you need to change anything about your reservation (dates, number of people) get in touch with us and we will try to acommodate your needs.

We don’t process payments via this site so all the payment details will be discussed with the host.

About your stay

We will send you the ferry boat schedule one day before your arrival. Please try to keep us informed about your trip along the way (especially if you experience big delays). It is very important to let us know when you get on the ferry boat so we can wait for you at the accommodation.

Nothing special, just respect the check out hour, which is 12:00 o’clock. If you are planning to leave early let us know about the hour.

There are no dedicated parking spots, but parking is free in front of and near the house. During the summer it may be a little crowded but you should always find a parking spot nearby.

We work in self-cleaning regime, which means we won’t enter your room during your stay, but we’ll provide clean sheets and towels every 3 days or on request.

You will find almost everything you need in the kitchen for basic cooking. Appliances like coffee maker, kettle, fridge, microwave/oven and stove, pots, pans, dishes and silverware are available in all the apartments (check your chosen apartment for the exact list).

If you are traveling to Greece for the first time, you may have heard that you shouldn’t throw any kind of paper down the toilet.

Any paper toilet or other personal care products shouldn’t be thrown in the toilet, only in the bin that you will find in every bathroom.

Sometimes during summer in Greece and especially in our island a storm can come suddenly, and the wind can be very strong. So please alway close the sunshades when you are leaving  the house and if a storm or rain approaches please close them as soon as you can. This is because if they remain open during rain they can be seriously damaged.

Also please always turn the air conditioning off when leaving the house and make sure to close the doors and windows when it is turned on.

Summer is a busy and lively time on our island, so there are no strict quiet hours.

Everyone in holiday wants to have fun, listen to music and enjoy the company of friends. But not everyone has the same timing, so please try to keep a decent music volume and avoid making any excessive noises which may disturb the other residents.

In Greece cats are almost everywhere and you can feed them, but be aware that they may get used to it and then visit you every day. Also, they will probably return after your stay expecting the same for the next guests who may not appreciate it

So if you want to feed them please do so outside the property garden and your balcony.

They will appreciate it 🐈

Special situations

  • Medical:
    • there is a pharmacy right near us, in the centre
    • at the health center in Limenaria (10 minutes drive from our location) a generalist doctor and paediatrician can help you with minor problems.
    • for emergencies there is a hospital in Prinos  (20 minutes drive from our location)

House rules and regulations

  • Please do not dispose of toilet paper in the toilet. Sewage systems are based on soak away and septic tank systems (the best solution for a small island) and toilet paper blocks the pipes.
  • Please keep doors and windows closed when air conditioning is running and turn off air conditioning when leaving the house
  • Please respect the property and the neighbourhood.
  • Please take care not to make noise after 11 p.m.
  • Switch off outside lights during daylight hours.
  • Please do not smoke inside the house.
